We have been enjoying warmer than normal temps here in Central Ohio this winter but are getting a bit of snow this month.  Not too much and it seems quite navigable.  Guests are still finding their way here for the last of basketball season, the heat of swim season and the beginnings of tennis and other spring sports.

The dogs and I are out and about regardless of the weather.  In recent ramblings we have flushed some bluebirds and a juvenile bald eagle (a very exciting experience, always).  Just last week a yellow-bellied sapsucker was pecking away at the pine tree out front.

Kenyon’s spring semester is in full swing now with many activities to keep parents busy and, hopefully, visiting.  In addition to the above mentioned sports, there is theater, concerts and lectures to keep one occupied while in the Village.  Recent guests here in the house include a physicist, stem cell biologist, sitcom writer as well as the many fascinating parents of current and would-be students.

We’ve got the fireplaces going and hearty breakfasts on the menu, we hope you’ll stay over and join us up on the hill.
